True story: my office used to be in the same building as 88 Acres. They had a no soliciting sign on the door, so I never felt I could go in and fangirl.
Sure as hell gonna do it now.
Y’ALL. THE BANANA BREAD BAR IS A REVELATION.
It is delicious and healthy, and free of allergens all at the same time.
Not gonna lie, I expected to gag a little after the first bite. I’m so used to overly sweet, fake fruit flavors in protein bars, but dare I say it? The tide might be changing? This bar is delicious, a smidge salty, and very filling.

BRAND BACKGROUND
Other than sharing an office building a few years ago, I don’t know a ton about 88 Acres beyond what’s on the website. Run by a married couple who met on Match.com, Nicole was inspired by the 88-acre farm she grew up on and the fact that her now-husband had a violent allergic reaction on their fourth date.
We started 88 Acres as a marriage of our two stories. But we also started 88 Acres to be a different kind of food company. One that makes delicious food that everyone can enjoy, with or without a food allergy. One that never compromises on quality or flavor. And one that celebrates its hard-working team. 88 Acres began as a love story between two people, but has grown to encompass a passionate community brought together by the power of great food.
